Why Horsehair?
Boar bristles are too coarse for the rapid movement of a sonic toothbrush. Horsehair is naturally softer and more flexible, so it feels gentler on your teeth and gums while the sonic action does the cleaning.

The bamboo head contains a small bioplastic insert so it can connect securely to the toothbrush handle.
Naturally Sourced and Carefully Prepared
The horse-tail hair is collected from live horses during routine grooming and trimming.
It is thoroughly washed, treated with standard hair-processing agents, boiled at over 100°C for at least four hours, dried, sorted and inspected before use.
Natural bristles may vary slightly in colour, texture and firmness. That is part of choosing a natural fibre rather than uniform plastic filaments.
Please note: horsehair is not vegan.
How to Get the Best Results
Attach the head securely, place it gently against your teeth and let the sonic movement do the work. Guide it slowly around your mouth—there is no need to scrub or press firmly.
After brushing, rinse thoroughly, shake off excess water and allow the head to dry upright in a well-ventilated place.
When to Replace
Replace your head every 5–8 weeks, or sooner if the bristles become worn, flattened or splayed.

At The Turtle Tribe, orders are processed within 5 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your payment confirmation email.
Deliveries to parcel lockers are only available for orders above $30.
Our free shipping offer does not include any order that contains Cleaner Oceans Co. products.
Deliveries are made from 8:30am on Monday-Friday.
We ship with Australia Post and other local courier services. To keep costs down we do not offer tracking on every parcel. At our discretion we may apply tracking to your parcel and/or require a signature upon delivery as proof of receipt.
We reserve the right to refuse delivery to some addresses
RETURNS
In order to be eligible for a refund, you have to return the product within 30 calendar days of your purchase. The product must be unopened and in the same condition that you receive it and undamaged in any way.
After we receive your item, our team of professionals will inspect it and process your refund. The money will be refunded to the original payment method you’ve used during the purchase. For credit card payments it may take 5 to 10 business days for a refund to show up on your credit card statement.
If the product is damaged in any way, or you have initiated the return after 30 calendar days have passed, you will not be eligible for a refund.
If the product is faulty you have the right under Australian Consumer Law to a refund or replacement. Please contact us to arrange a suitable solution.
Please note bamboo toothbrush handles can be susceptible to mould if stored incorrectly. Bamboo toothbrushes must be stored in a dry non-humid location prior to use, and kept dry between uses. Stored and used this way, bamboo toothbrush handles will not go mouldy.

To avoid mould, please allow your bamboo toothbrushes to air-dry after use. Do not stand in a wet cup, as constant moisture can cause this natural product to grow mould.
If storing unused brushes for long periods be sure to store away from heat and moisture, in an air-tight container.

Dentists recommend that you replace your toothbrush every three months due to bacterial build-up in the bristles. A plastic one will be around for another 500 years after you're gone, so thanks for choosing biodegradable bamboo instead!
