Are bamboo toothbrushes eco-friendly?

The bamboo handle is the key difference — it's a natural, renewable material you can compost at the end of its life. If the bristles are nylon, they're still plastic, so remove them before composting the handle. Our boar bristle brush is fully plastic-free.

Do bamboo toothbrushes go mouldy?

Bamboo can develop mould if it stays damp. Rinse your brush after use and store it somewhere it can dry properly between brushes.

How do you dispose of a bamboo toothbrush?

With our nylon-bristle brushes, remove the nylon bristles before composting the bamboo handle. Our natural boar bristle brush is fully compostable.
